Hi,
When you start a Campaign, is the battle time limit locked for the duration of that campaign? I'm having difficulty getting my changes to stick in my current campaign, though they seem to alter custom battle just fine.
Thanks in advance!

In my experience, you can change the battle time limit at any point in the campaign (while you're in the campaign map). Have you accidentally set the preferences script file to read only?
No, I've got everything set correctly. Starting a new campaign, or playing a custom battle results in no time limit now... but my ongoing campaign is stuck at 60 minute battles.
I think I did that to prevent the odd battle-that-never-ends when you have one AI unit stuck somewhere on their retreat. That rarely happens though, and at this point in the campaign I cannot actually fight any of my battles because they are all 3-4 stacks vs 3-4 other stacks... with modified deployment zones, it takes me 20-30 minutes just to maneuver my troops into position.
I'd love to fight some of these huge battles, but with a 60-inute time limit, all I get to is about the skirmish before time runs out. :-/
I'd hate to have to scrap the campaign. Argh.

I feel your pain. I am using 550 man inf and 225 man cav units with 30 unit stacks and 60 minutes is barely enough time for me to assume positions!

For some weird reason, Napoleons Campaigns has 1 hour battle limit, and there are no to me beknownst way to change it. However, in both the Peninsular Campaign and the Campaigns of the Coalision you can, in the Gameplay Options, change between 20, 40 and 60 minutes (if I remember correct).
