Default The best feature that I've noticed so far

I just downloaded BC a couple days ago and have been playing a campaign as Jerusalem. I'm really enjoying it so far. But one thing about this mod that I think is awesome are the construction costs. I don't know why other mods don't do this. Every time I play a campaign I just mindlessly queue up buildings in my settlements because there's no reason not to. But I really like these high construction costs in BC. It forces you to make a decision about what's really important that you absolutely need to build.

100% agreed. It makes one city unique from another as well, as much as possible in this limited engine -- add in guild buildings and you have centers that specialize in certain units, or give specific benefits, etc.

The only thing I'd change is the dirt roads, lower them to around where RBBR has them in cost (still fairly high) and more areas should start with them already in place.... certainly anywhere there was a Roman road network.
