    does anyone know how to import a variant weighted mesh file to blender?

    You can either use KnightErrants Milkshape Converter, open it up in MS and save it in a format blender knows, or you using Ulimate Unwrap and save the models in a format blender knows.
    There's no direct way .

    haha funny thing. i neither have milkshape, nor ultimate unwrap and i dont wanna buy this.
    any other free 3d programme out there?

    Not that I am aware of, no. (that is, nothing compatible with ETW models)

    found this, but i dont understand the last paragraph(english isnt my mother tongue)
    could you please tell me in easy english what this exactly means. is milkshape only free for 30 days and if yes will i have to pay?
