Default Where are my music and videos????

Ok, so as some of you know i recently built a new computer and i got everything new except the cd drives. So my hard drive is new and I finally got to install windows on my new harddrive. So my problem is I have no music on my new harddrive cause all my old music and videos and whatever are on my old harddrive. I want to transfer my music and video files on my old drive to my new drive. So I added the 2nd harddrive as slave and my new harddrive is SATA and im told that i dont need a master/slave for that though. Anyways, so i got things working and now Im running windows off my new harddrive and i can see that my old harddrive is connected and i can access it. But what I cant find is, my music folder and anything that was on my DESKTOP. I put my music folder and game shortcuts etc. on my desktop for easy access. But for some reason I can access the folders that were not on my desktop on my old harddrive.

I did a search and found no music files. Is there a way where I can access my music files and any files i want from windows just by having my old harddrive connected too (as slave of course)????

Is windows installed on the old hard drive still, you didn't delete it before building your new computer (I seriously doubt you did but it's worth checking), as the desktop is part of the windows framework.
Apart from that, if windows is still installed on the second hard drive, make that hard drive your boot drive in your BIOS, start windows in safe mode (as your new hardware may have issues otherwise) and move the folders to somewhere else on the old hard drive (not the desktop).
That should work, and seeing as your search for the music files turned up nothing it seems that you need to start that version of windows to even see the files.
