Save Games?

I was wondering where I could locate my save game data so that I may back them up.

Well your save-games should be stored somewhere on your harddrive right?
You can also use the search function on your computer and let it search for your save-game (just how you have named it). The file-extension should be: .sav

If you're running Windows 7 check this file path:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\saves
