So as you can see here, the odds are that I will get dominated by the Egyptian army. They've got a general and a far larger army. My army consists of Levy Pikemen (horrible morale), one militia hoplite, one militia cav, and one peltast unit. I got cocky, all I can say.
Wait for it .... wait! I got lucky and managed to cause a huge route

. Cheers!
Militia Cavalry are a life saver in this situation!
Hmm ...
Oh well, here's my battle results. The battle didn't require much strategy. Well maybe it required some basic thinking of the RTW mind. I set my units up on a rather small hill (more like a dune), forming the infamous pike box (half a box in this case). Levy Pikemen have extremely long spears and I kept my Militia hoplite as backup. Encased in the semi-box were my peltasts and militia cavalry. The Egyptian AI General (as smart as he is), charges into my Phalanx (I left them OUT of phalanx position until the general charged me). I killed the general, and all his troops, already on "very tired", or "exhausted", starting getting scared of my spears. I realized that a single Numidian Spearmen group had routed, so I decided to charge straight in with my militia cavalry, focusing directly in the center of the horde. What ended was a huge mass route from every single unit besides one bowmen, which took out 10 of my cav. Victory!
Yes, yes, I know this is the Egyptian conquest by the Seleucids, but hey! Land is everywhere, and throwing in a few settlements non-relevant to the title is completely tempting. I lay siege to a Parthian settlement.
Oh, and bribe their nearby HA stack... those things scare me.
Did I also mention I laid siege to Hallicarnassus? No? Oh... well they sallied to attack. Luckily for me, there were TWO groups of Cretan archers ready for hire, and sallying to attack from a settlement leaves the sallyers in bad spots. Why? They are so unorganized coming out of their city.
Victory!!
