Default Regarding Gairlom, a Celtic unit...

As you can see, its model is wearing scale armor:

    But their stats contradict this:

    Is this intentional?

Just another example of one of julianus heraclius' mindgames!

Now, if I were to increase their armor, would that be cheating?

No. But you would have to balance the rest of their stats aswell.

I have change all stats of the units of this mod, specially romans ones. ( huge price for clibi/cataphr with a lower moral and number of soldiers, huge chage bonus, differents steps of protection/costs/time of recruitment due to the different loricas, etc..)

Basis is to have an price for all armors/weapons and a time of manufacturing it.. The obstacle i met is that once romans have manufacturae, they should be abble to produce armors and weapons at low cost and in a shorter delay..
Another is to adjust the costs of the equipments ofr factions in regards of the times-possibilities.. but there is so much lacks in historical ressources to have an perfect adjustment there..

I think, in regards of the price of recrutment of the glairoms, that if you increase their defense, you should increase the cost of recruitment, and a little bit the unkeep ( for the oil/reparaitions/etc due to the armor )
