    Dear all,

I am very interested in all Roman periods and especially the latter one and this am very impatient to play IBFD/SAI. I understand that the current version is 1.0 plus patch. However, I would like very much to know which settings are recommended (on the base of historical rationale) for each campaign, esp. for 355AD as I'd love to face Julian's challenges when he was Caesar. How many tpy? (I guess that one of the settings is best suited to reality with regards to building construction times), which unit size? (same for population growth) and which setting (M/H? Anyway, I think that I would play M/M, I am not good enough to take more ).

Thank you very much for any answer,

    FFJean

It's a matter of personal taste, I guess. Personally I always play on VH/H settings, and I prefer 4tpy.

Same.. i prefer the 12 tpy, but there is some problems of movepoints ofr generals with this, specially with the 365 if my remembers are good..
For the unit size, it's the same.. i prefer to play in large, because i have adjusted all stats of units, and playing with millions of clibinaries worrying myself..

    Hi
I prefer 6 tpy (for me most realisic - you may finish campaign against one barbarian tribe settlement/invasion in one year without retraining troops ), VH/M ( I dont like, when some levy units massacre my elite cavalry in melee combat). In my two finished campaigns ( Iulianus 361 and Constantius 355) I have played with Huge units scale, but now I think that Large is better option.

    Dear all,

I am really looking in fact, esp. for the number of tpy as well as for the unit size, for recommended settings best suited to the mod itself, ie building construction times (for tpy) and growth of cities (for size of units), to avoid both insanely quick (or slow) construction times and a-historical depletion or growth of cities.

Sorry if my question is not that clear, most probably my English is to be blamed!

    Yours sincerely,

    FFJean
