Would you like to see Napoleon's retailer specific units released as DLC?

We are currently running a poll on the official Total War forums to gauge interest in releasing those NTW special units that never made it into a generally released DLC pack. Please check out this link to the poll and vote for the option you prefer.

Your poll is invalid though, as you did not include a negative option, nor did you include an "I don't care" option.
What am I supposed to vote if I want to preserve the exclusivity of the units?

The poll is about giving the people who never had the chance to purchase certain units the chance to do so now so a negative option is not required, we're not talking about unit packs that people decided not to buy because they wanted to save money by buying a cheaper edition like where they had the choice between the Imperial version with the Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars unit pack or the normal version without it, we're talking about units that some people simply didn't have the option to get without spending an unreasonable amount of money like for instance four copies of the game in order to get all four exclusive pre-order units or the people who for their own private reasons had to purchase the game from Steam and thus never had the choice of getting the Elite Regiments pack.

Besides this is not exactly a ground breaking event, Empire Total War also had exclusive pre-order units and these were released separately at a later date so the precedence for this move has already been set.

We don't need a DLC with units. There are mods around with the same units, in better quality.



However, if they made a map upgrade DLC, where they would split some regions (Spain, France, England) in three, and some regions (Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Holland, or Picardie - Champagne, etc) I'd eagerly by it.

However, I ask regularly in SW2 forum, every time CA posts something in their "what we are up to" threads if they will do something about ETW/NTW, they just completly ignore the questions

This might come as a shock to you, but a lot of people find the AI to be about as challenging as outsmarting a monkey and thus play multilayer. The bulk of multilayer battles happen in vanilla since both people fighting need to have whatever mod.

What's more likely to happen? CA releasing units they already made? Or CA creating content for an old game?

What's the point in that anyway? Like other people having more fun somehow takes away from yours? I'm not implying that that's what you're saying, but I really can't understand the sentiment.

If you don't want them released, then I guess you don't vote.

Guys, I voted to release them in a DLC pack. I'd love to own the Grand Batterie and the Elite Regiments packs; I own the Scots Greys, Heroes of Nap Wars and the rest of the purchasable ones.

As an old Sociologist who had to do research with surveys and polls, statistical relevance is important. This poll leads people to answer only positively, and that is nails on a chalkboard to anyone that has statistical and relevancy experience. My comment was about the actual poll itself, not whether or not the DLC should be available. For instance, you can't have someone not voting represent the "no" vote, because you cannot separate somone who would've voted "no" from someone who never sees the poll. Just sayin'.

No I don't want the special units released, how else will I distinguish myself from the peasants?
