    Default Question

can you tell me if the heros are actually possible as one man units?
If your coder says he can, can you put him in touch with me on how to do this.
    Im really desparate.........please!

Well, yes and no. You can have one hero on a field at a time, but no more than that (otherwise the script gets confused). We had a couple of ideas, but nothing really practical. You couldn't, for example, have a one man unit that you could personally train.

This is just a thought, and was probably already covered...

Would it be possible to make unique captains to represent the heroes, and make the unit the heroes retinue?

So an Agamemnon unit could really be made up of his retinue, with a special captain representing the hero?

Well, that's what we're going to go with. But then you can't really have hero duels - just a big clash of men.

Ok, this might be a little out there, but have you tried giving the models transparent skins? so the retinue doesn't show up in the battle?

It might look funny in battle, but you would only get the captain on the field?

Then your heroes would be fighting thin air.

We had a scriptor who had supposedly created a script for one man units. The fact that we haven't seen it suggests that he never made it. I don't hear from him anymore either.

That would probably really depend on how many men are in the unit. If the unit is small enough there wouldn't be that much space between the units.

Does anyone know what the minimum unit size is, for a recruitable general?

Either way, it will be very a great feature. If I can control Achilles or Hector, I don't mind having their companions along.

Good, because if we ever release a version the companions will be along with them.
