    Default Princess and Diplomats

What do they do when in the end of turn time the other faction's diplomats or princesses engages a city and makes the "start of negociations animation" but then nothing happens?

I guess is not bribery, because princess cant do that, and also, you cant bribe heirs...

(I hope i could explain myself properly)

The in game advisor actually explains this one. It means soon they will present you with some demands like giving them gold or a region, or they are preparing to declare war on you. It is a way the game has to show you tensions between your factions are rising. They only do that if you had a good reputation with that faction but they still want to kick your ass. If you have a bad reputation then an army just marches up agaisnt you

a princess could also be trying to seduce one of your generals...

But tend to agree with the above - if I get a diplomacy action from an AI nation that is demanding cash or else war then I refuse as they will be declaring war regardless of whether you give the cash or not

But the thing is that they are not demaning anything, the diplomat just makes the animation of opening negociations and then, the AI turn continues...

As aforementioned it often means that the AI will attack shortly however this is not always the case but none the less be wary and keep spies/merchants/diplomats etc in their territory and keep an eye out for armies being combined/coming your way.

Send a dipolmate to them, make a stronger treaty and offer them some cash. Also enforce your borders and cities with troops.
