    Default Resource in the map

    Hello and thanks for your help.

    I know how to add a resource to a region, you know, in descr_regions.txt

    What i want to know is how i put this resource on the campaign map so a merchant could use it for making money.

    And where i can change the money that your city receives for trade a resource that is in its region, and of course, where i can change the money that a merchant get using a resource on the campaign map.

    It isn't something I've done myself but have a look in the tutorial list. There's one in there about resources.

    Thanks, Withmar, there i have found a tuto to change the trade image in the campaign map and how to change the resource trade income, but no how to add a new resource to the campaing map so a merchant could use it.

    I know how to add wool resource to london and how to change the wool tradeable value, so i can change what money london receive for it. But i dont know how to add "the sheep" near london and how to change the money a merchant will get by "trading sheeps".

    Someone could help me with this?

    Thx!! it was hidden XDD

    Only one doubt, in this tuto dont says that you need to add the resource to the region (in descr_region) to put it in the campaign map. It is necesary? Or only with placing it on the campaing map (in desc_strat), the region will have it too, you know, for trading and getting income trade.

    descr_region is for hidden resources, descr_strat is for the trading resources shown on the campaign map.

    descr_sm_resources controls how valuable trading resources are.

    So if i want that london could trade with iron, i have to go to descr_region and add there iron. And if i want the iron on the campaign map i have to go to descr_strat. And if i want to change the value of both irons, the merchants one and the city one, i have to go to descr_sm_resources.

    Rigth?

    So if i add a hidden resource to a region in the descr_region, it will gain an extra income for trading with it, but it wont appear on the campaign map, rigth?

    No you dont need to add trade resources to descr_region AT ALL!

    JUST use descr_strat for adding trade resources. use descr_sm_resources to control the trade resources value

    Look at my descr_region, this "wine" resource, dont give trade income to bordeaux?

    This is a hidden resource, independent of the "wine" resource, probably for use by export_descr_buildings.txt. They just happen to have the same name.

    If the EDB has "hidden_resource wine" then that would confirm it. Or "wine" in its "hidden_resources" list at the top of the file.

    (Or it's a mistake.)

    Withwnar, is a mistake because i added it! Oux!

    One more thing, i have to create a list of "hidden_resources" in some place before of using them in "descr_regions" or in the EDU?? And where i have to create this list?
