I have a skin for a spartan hoplite that I like but don't want to use as a spartan hoplite per se. I want to use the skin and model but basicly make it a new unit. Is it possible to do this without some major modifications to the game or is it as easy as editing a few text files and putting the texture in the right place with the right name?

While I'm at it. I've heard there is a mod that makes the AI smarter in battle. Do you know what it is called and where I can find it?
