AI tweaked or am I rusty?

Either ive been out of M2TW longer then i thought or I just got overly acustomed to Shogun 2's Ai behavior. Has the AI on the 4.3 patch gotten tweaked or am i just rusty? I'm banking on rusty though. Playing on H/H for my campaign

No, the CAI did not recieve any new updates to it in KGCM 4.3. The BAI did get a small fix which makes AI morale hold for a little longer in battle. Also there has been some rebalancing of campaigns and some factions may now seem a little harder to play than in KGCM 4.2.

No matter. Its had me restarting a few times to try out different intitial approaches to find one that works for me. Still loving the epic scale of the mod! its the one i always recommend lol

Actually, in beta testing one of the factions I played was Denmark, and I absolutely loved it! I was playing late into the night and getting up late for work in the mornings Denmark starts with a new island region Roskilde, while Norway has an extra region Tingvalla, with Skara now much more valuable as a castle between the two. Also, other factions will naval invade Sweden and take you by surprise! I had a full stack of the Teutonic Order land at Stockhom and besiege it JUST before I was going to take it. The problem is that Denmark are surrounded by Catholics and you will have to attack one of them sooner or later. You then have to worry about excommunication and your relations plummeting further with everyone. Its a tricky campaign on VH/VH at least and highly enjoyable.

They were one of the original factions of interest to me. I was drawn by their strong infantry and infantry swordsmen. Ive got nothing against calvary mind you, but im def more for the melee infantry. So denmark was who i was playing during 4.2. It was either Denmark, Scotland or HRE. I was tempted to try lithuania just for the attempt at spreading paganism across the map but to many things turn me away from that campaign. Plus Denmark is fun like you said.
I did notice the naval invasion by the teutonic order though before my most recent restart.

Im trying to focus on slowly pushing Norway out to control that entire area of land. Which i was able to rush to take Kalmar and the north eastern most city, norway beat me to the castle in the middle. Ive got some plans for removing norway without stirring to much trouble. Plus my relationship standing with the pope is a bit higher thanks to successful missions and plenty of priests around my provinces. Hoping this will act as a buffer so I can prepare to build up and rush the remaing Norway Provinces since i know sooner or later they will come at me anyway and I dont want to deal with them plus large invasion armies from the Teutonic Order.
Only playing on H/H since im still learning /re learning my stuff haha
