    Default CTD when conquered settlement

CTD when I take the cities in southern Italy. I play Carthage against Romans, but twice, after the battle near the town, and I win, the city is mine and when I choose what to do with the city immediately CTD. I usually successful to prevente CTD regularly deleting autosave. But this time does not help. I have no idea how to solve it. Help?

My effort is in vain, to avoid the re-play the battles I simply let the computer so I lost a total of four full stack armies. Of course, I cried with anger, but not just because of this but for everything. Never in any mod I have not played the campaign until the end, I had to stop due to a plague called the CTD. I am writing this because I am terribly angry.

The advice has always been to not use the autosave or quicksave option.

Given you've ignored that advice I wonder how much else you've ignored from the install instructions? Read this here and this here.

I've had this happen too even though I don't use autosave/quicksave. To me it happened when I was attacked instead of being the attacker, so in the end turn period. What helped was just waiting for a bit after the battle had finished and/or going back to the strategy map where you can select what to do with the city. Hope this works!

At some time not be a problem but now it happened again after one battle. Three battles I've played in one turn.

    I'll try it.

@Brusilov: I do not have much time to read it all, if you know the answers to me in particular.
