RTW on Flash Drive

Hello all! My question is..I own the 3 disk Rome TW gold edition and play regularly, but my university has these sweet computers available 24/7 that make the experience even better. So to make my life easier I was hoping to somehow install the Rome TW game on my flash-drive so I don't have to re-install it every time I visit the computer labs. Does anyone know how I could do this? I can bring the disk 1 with me if necessary to launch, but the whole install process is time consuming! My flash drive is 8 gb.

I've played every TW game except for the new Shogun 2 so I've browsed these forums several times over the years and I thought this would be a good place to start. Thanks everyone!

Next time you install, just set the installation location as your flash drive. You might need to copy the registry entries onto there as well, and export them each time you want to play.

Pretty much what he said, but remember that might be a pretty complicated process when taking into account limitations that your school may have placed on computer usage. It's probably different for you because you're at uni, but at my school computer usage is heavily monitored and we are blocked from installing or changing anything and everything. You may as well just play the game at home.

It doesn't really matter where you set the installation path - you can move an RTW folder
anywhere and you'll be able to play it.

Only important is you need to have it installed on that system.

No it doesnt need to be installed on the system. I have mine on a portable hard drive so I can have many copies and stuff and I can take it and play on any PC computer I want as long as I have the cd

Oh well then it's even easier - tbh i never played it without having it installed so i
could only guess on that one.
