Turn Ending after battles

Is there any way to turn off the way it ends the turn automatically after every battle? I don't like that at all.

Playing on Medium/Medium as England.

Maybe you could give a little more details? Describe it more exactly, and perhaps with an example or two...

Think he means the fact that you can't chase down an enemy after you win a defensive battle.

irishron is right, I don't think he meant that and anyway ... you can chase down enemies after you rout them all (the "continue" button still appears) even if you were the one defending

Whenever I assault a settlement, after the battle is over, it automatically ends my turn. The season changes and everything and I get to move my armies again. It happens every time I end a battle. Hasn't been one without it being assaulting a settlement since I barely started the Campaign. Could this be a glitch? I used Cheat Engine to change my money but no other mods or cheats. Thanks.

Sounds like a bug - the game should not do that. You should probably try to re-install the game ...

I've been experiencing this as well, I thought it was just an implemented feature. It only happens after long battles.

I get that too. Normally after sieges, or hour long battles.

I was waiting to see how this was playing out, so now, Moved from Medieval2 GD to Medieval2 Tech.

Post your dxdiag. It can be many things including running out of memory.
