    Default free 3D model programme

    does anyone know a free 3d model programme with empire total war input which is easy to handle for beginners?
    if there are only difficult programmes i would love some turtorials

    Blender is a well known free 3D modeling software, but I don't think it is an easy one for beginner even if you can find very good tutorials.
    Moreover, I don't know if Blender is able to open ms3d files. Maybe someone else could have an answer ?

    On the other hand, MilkShape isn't free and isn't developed since 2009 but is really easy to handle.
    But I don't think it will be of some use in the future (when we will have a converter for S2TW... )

    yeah i read sth bout blender already...i seems that rome tw and medieval2 tw models can be edited with this.
    maybe id be able to work with it

    hmm i might have to try blender out with rome total war some time as well as i dont have any mony for 3dsmax

    i watched some turtorials...it dont seems to be to difficult
