So DC have rebooted and as there been any issues not really good at all or where there ones that have been really amazing, I havent picked up any yet but getting The Flash #1 and Superman #1, will pick up Green lantern eventually.

And am i the only who actually likes the new costumes

I've given up keeping track; maybe it would be better if most comic stories were mini or maxi series, so that you can pick up the story arcs without wondering what's going on and how they are all related.

While a good reboot is always enjoyable, I'm only looking forward to the Green Lantern. I like his concept much more than Superman or The Flash.

It is my great honour to have my poem Farmer in the Scriptorium here.

I keep going to the shop intending to pick up one of the New 52 titles, since I've never read any DC and figured this is a good time to start, but I always leave empty handed. Like Jean-Luc, I like the concept of Green Lantern, I picked up #1 and flipped through it and it didn't really do anything for me. So, it looks like I'll remain a Marvel reader.

I Highly recommend going back a couple of years and buying Green lantern : Rrbirth, Its a great place to start and there is still good reason to get it because from what i heard GL #1 was barely affected by the reboot and is pretty much just GL#68

I'm a bit confused by the new Batman.

It seems the entire Inc arc is still somehow in the background (I still have to read everything from RIP onward actually), yet for example Catwoman doesn't know who Batman is anymore.
Likewise half the people are just starting out their hero career as it were (GL being an arrogant dick, and not knowing who Superman is and stuff) but Batman is already an established name
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

They did a soft reboot basically, they went back and kept all the well established stories, at least several I heard of, like for Batman the killing joke still happened but they altered it so Barb doesnt lose the use of her legs.

Edit: Also Green lantern was not rebooted AFAIK. They are still dealing with the aftermath of the WTGL.

I heard about Barbara getting her legs back.
I think that's a shame, usually such drastic changes are quickly retconned or remedied, but she's one of the few characters who really came into her own.

And I'm just noticing that I have no idea what's happening in comics any more. I didn't even know about the WTGL

I think the New 52 is good for someone like me who was always interested in reading DC but wasn't ready to commit to learning something new. Having said that, I still haven't picked up any of these new titles and I think the main reason is that I'm just burned out at the moment and money is tight.

I'm a Marvel reader and since 2003 they've pretty much had one world changing cross over after another. House of M, Civil War, Secret Invasion, The Seige, Shadowland, The Messiah Complex, X-Men: Second Coming, the current Fear Itself, and now Uncanny X-Men ending and splitting into two titles (AGAIN), Black Panther taking over for DareDevil. Just too many changes and tied story lines for my budget. All that to say, I still may pick up the new Green Lantern if I can find it, but otherwise my wallet is most likely going to keep me away at the moment, and this may be the case for many others in these times.
