    Default Space Voyager for civitate

    from Battleknight.

    space voyager

    Greetings,

I would like to nominate Space Voyager as my client.

Here is his written paragraph on how he thinks what it means to be a civitate.

Far is the day that I stumbled upon Total War Center. At first I thought I have found yet another site dedicated to one of the best game series, but it turned out to be much more. It turned out to be a large community of people who liked what I like. But these people also took a much more active, creative role by contributing ideas, modifications, finding solutions to problems.
This prevented me from going away. Although I didn’t have the knowledge to be very creative in time I felt the urge to contribute to the society rather than simply take what others say for granted. The level of my contribution is not a huge one and must be judged by others in any case, but this was the reason for me to join the forum.
I must say I didn’t feel any constrains or lack of acknowledgement due to my lack of “forum status”. Therefore I didn’t and don’t feel any need to climb in ranks – not because I feel the ranking system is not appropriate but because the community is this well organised and free to anybody who respects the members and the rules governing the TWC society. It is, however, always nice to see that others have noticed your respect towards them and your efforts to contribute, however significant the contribution is. And this is in my opinion the very definition of being a Civitate – an acknowledgement of one’s efforts to be an active yet not disturbing member of TWC society. I would count the nomination for Civitates as a privilege, a sign others have seen my efforts and - at the same time - as a sign I am expected to be an even more constructive member.

Thanks for your time and I await your response with much anticipation.

    Sincere greetings,

    BattleKnight
my personal opinion: posting and no warning, but I find nothing earth shattering from Space Voyager. I'm abstaining, I can't make up my mind.

I am going for a yes... He could do with producing longer posts a bit more frequently, I suppose. but this post swung it for me:

No need for turning two mods into a nationalistic debate (and we've seen this before). The mods are separate, about different time periods and so forth. They do not compete with each other - if one comes first it doens't mean that the second one is obsolete.

Naturally, some heathy competition is good but not in terms of nationalism.
Good demeanour. No evidence of poor conduct that I could find.

No, because "nice guy" and "ok" doesn't cut it for me.

I dont get the voting options.... Am I just stupid or is it too early? hmm

    - Well I voted the same as imb, since apparently he voted yes. The guy looks like a nice guy. Also, his posts are good.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Once again, difficult. His posts are a bit short....he could be doing something like some lines a little more regularly. I really think he is on the verge. Very hard to say, as Archer said. In fact his input is positive and not just "destroying" other peoples posts...hm... I'd rather say let him write some more posts and patronise him then. I am damn unsure. I'd rather tip towards yes...
