Seeking peoople to play with

I'm seeking people whom I can play medieval 2 with. I don't like online battles very much, I'd rather play single player campaign.
I'm looking for people who would like to compete with me in single player, not in hotseat but we could do like, choose a faction and then whoever has the best score by the end of a determined turn wins.
We could setup small championships, even get someone to judge our faction's progress in the end, anyone up ?

Sounds interesting, but there are some problems that can get in the way:
1. people could use cheats to help themselves.
2. some people only like to stick with certain factions.
3. the problem with competing is that the AI will most likely act differently in each campaign.
4. with the who am I thread going (along with busy lives), some people may not have time to do a competition campaign or may take a few weeks to do it.

With all that aside, I think I would still be up to the idea if other people were also interested and rules were set up for each competition. My posting the problems is not to discourage you; instead, it is just to let you know some things that might come up with this. And remember, if you can get some more people to join you in this, I definitely will as well.
