WASD Camera Controls?

Evening all

Basically after reading through some old threads here and there I've noticed that people have been able to use WASD in Med2 and I was wondering how? They said use the RTS camera control which I always have done but I've never been able to use WASD, I can use 8/5 (they both do the forward control?)462 but thats not very convienent and is rather disorientating

Any thoughts? Can I remap the camera movement myself?

It has been a while, but if I remember correctly, you use the cinematic editor. I believe that is the way to use WASD. I don't know of any other way off the top of my head.

I have the german version of the game, so my translation - which is additionaly limited by my not-perfect-english - may probably not match the actual term in the english version, but I hope, i can help you:

You don't have to switch to FPS-Control to use WASD for Camera-Controls. You can assign every button to a specific control manually.

Go: Main Menu -> Options -> Control Options

Double-click the control-option you want to change ("camera forward" for example). The buttons disappear and the control-option is underlined in grey color. Now you push the button, you want to assign to the control ("w" for example) -> "w" is used for "camera forward". Repeat that for "a", "s" and "d" and you will have your intended configuration.
