Rise of the Samurai - OUT NOW!

Hi all,

Just to let you know that Rise of the Samurai is now LIVE on Steam, as well as the huge accompanying free patch.

If you haven't picked the new campaign up yet, you can do so right here:

You don't need to get the DLC in order to receive the free patch, which includes new castle types for Shogun 2, a wealth of improvements and tweaks and 11 new multiplayer and skirmish maps.

By the way, ARE THERE NEW BUILDINGS IN THE CAMPAIGN? This is very relevant IMO.

The best philosophy I have heard in months.

The annoying thing is just not being able to look at anything else. I'm only at ~625mb DL'd @ ~300KB/s. Ugh.

Good that it started downloading, now I just have to leave my comp on, I was planning to woke up 4am to start download at first, now I dont have to.

Steam is awfully slow today, only 300kb/s -.-
takes forever to download the 1,8 gb...

I have just purchased it but it isn't downloading

Slow download as i feared. Steam should upgrade his servers. Anyway less then 10 minutes to the end.

A noobish question but...
Shogun II is my 1st STEAM activated game.
What do i need to order the DLC exept bank credit card that i do not have?
Is there any other pay option?

Yes but when i press "add to cart" button in STEAM there are no options or form to fill in ...Damn that;s why i hate STEAM everything is complicated.

I just tried it and the option for PayPal is there. After you click "Purchase for Myself" it'll bring you to page with a drop down menu saying "Please select payment option" then just select PayPal.
