distance?

While reading the scripts,
I found in some events
like opening a great council for the priests or inviting troubards for princesses,
I saw there are conditions reading somethings like
"distance from capital < 60"

and became curious
exactly how far that really means in the game.

I tried searching the forum for answers,
but whether it was because of my lack of searching skills
or because there isn't any posting related to it,
I wasn't able to find any about.

anyone care to help me out?


P.S.
I've always enjoyed SS from quite earlier versions on.
but I think it's my first time posting anything on the forum.

60 tiles. 1 tile = the minimum amount you can move a character.

thanx!! hm.. than i guess 60 wouldn't be that far from the capital.

Try it moving the character in single tile steps. It's quite a distance.
