    Default Medieval II campaign problems

Okay, so let me start by telling you that I have vanilla medieval II with Lusted's Campaign mod.
For the first few months, the game was fine, better with the mod. But recently I've come across a major error which I can not rectify.

In new campaigns and current save games, other factions are literally doing nothing at all, other than building full stacks and just keeping them outside of their cities/castles. No alliances have been made, no wars started, the only faction doing anything at all is my own.

There is an exception however, crusades are still being called, and catholic factions are heading to the Holy Lands and taking them, it seems Spain is the usual victor. But after that, they just let the captured settlement rebel after a few turns and don't go back unless another Crusade is called.

Also, Jihads are being called, but I haven't witnessed one successful Jihad since the error occurred.

I'm playing an extended time scale, 900 turn campaigns, and have been for around two years, so I can't see why this is to blame, I'm concerned that either the mod has failed or my game is just buggering up because it feels like it.

If anyone has a solution for my problem or needs some clarification, please reply.

Edit: With my Scottish campaign I started not long ago, I have reached turn 150, this is the longest I've gone with the error.

It could be related to Lusted's AI, maybe it's not compatible and that's why the AI factions are not doing any actual movement on strat map.
You have to provide the list of links\mods that you installed over your vanilla copy.

The only mod I've installed is Lusted's Campaign AI, I read all the instructions and followed them as far as I can tell, to the letter. It says it's compatible with vanilla, and like I said, the mod was working for a few months until now.

Nevertheless, I have removed the mod and have been on one of my campaign saves, it seems to be back to normal, though the AI seems to be avoiding rebel settlements and focusing on their neighbouring factions.

I will just have to wait until I have kingdoms and I'll re-install the mod. Though Kingdoms is not the highest of my money spending priorities.

    Thank you for the reply.

Did you mod that yourself? I don't think it's a standard part of Lusted's mod. That may have something to do with it.

Yeah, I merely increased the campaign timescale, the mod worked with it for months though, but I will reset the timescale and try again with the mod when I have the time, I'll post the results on this thread.

I've reset the time scale and re-installed the mod, I made a new campaign and quickly went 20 turns. No other faction took any settlements and they sent no diplomats, not even for trade rights. I think for now I'll just not use the mod until I have Kingdoms.
