Default Bribe family members and generals

Has the bribe feature been removed for SAI, in particular the 355 campaign? It doesn't show up as an option for me.

I believe the ability to bribe a character is connected to the amount of money you have. If you're not wealthy enough, you can't bribe them. I remember I noticed this issue a few years back, and asked around about it, but got no good answer. However, once I reached a certain amount of wealth, I was able to bribe generals once more.

Also, im pretty sure you cant bribe allied characters, only neutral or enemy ones. And if the character you are trying to bribe has more influence than your diplomat it doesnt work either

I meant that the option doesn't even appear when I initiate diplomacy. I don't even have the chance to get turned down.

Yes, I know. This means that you either don't have the sufficient funds or that you can't bribe an allied family member.

The bribing system of RTW/BI works this way: you try to bribe a character, and he responds by either declining, or saying what sum he wants. It's not you who offers the sum. And bribing a general is not cheap, so if you don't have the means to do so, the option will not appear in your menu.

*Also the sum depends on the character Its relatively easy to bribe a low star character, but extremely difficult to try and get a veteran ten star war leader to join you

Ok, this is getting weird. After breaking my alliance and cheating myself 2 million gold the bribe option still doesn't show up. I can't even bribe small single unit stacks without generals. It's weird because I have never had this sort of problem in any other mod or even in the other campaigns for SAI.

Joar, I understand what you're saying but this is the first time for me that the option to bribe isn't even there. I've had plenty of attempts turned down, but regardless of my relative wealth the option has always been there for non faction leaders/faction heirs.
