Default Late Era Knights for KoJ.

I was wondering what year it has to be when I can recruit the late era knights. I was also wondering how I will be able to recruit Teutonic knights?

The Teutonic knights become recruitable from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre around 1218, 1220, or 1230. I can't remember which. No idea when or where the Knights of St. John become available.

I've never even seen the knights of St John, I'm wondering if the trigger works properly.... I don't think the team has been playing the KoJ in a while.

The late Templars arrive just after the Mongols and the Teutonic knights mentioned above shortly after. The dismounted Knights of Outremer are missing from the official release. You can use the submod RBBR to incorporate them again, among many other units.

Teutonic knights are available after emergence of the Mongols, and Knights of St John after liquidation of Templar order.

The dismounted Knights of Outremer were exclusives to custom battles because Miraj and the crew felt that in the earlier version of BC KOJ had too many heavy infantry and would become extremely overpowered. That's the main reason they aren't in the campaign with all the other dismounted knights.

That is clearly no longer the case since most of the factions have no shortage of heavy infantry now. Not to mention the small unit size of the KoJ knights too.

True. We're talking like 1.5 here so this was before Strelac introduced all those new AOR units.
