Realms : total war is a full-conversion mod that is still in the very beginning stage of completion.

The mod will take place on a continent in a fantasy realm. In this realm, all races are

The Sandarian Empire was founded my Miaphelon II, the first king of the Sandarian kingdom (then it was a kingdom).The great empire of Aramei under the rule of Damvens came to an end. He died in battle against the Akkadians. He was pierced by 4 arrows. Altougt he died by the first one.
His 3 sons could not decide who would get the kingdom. So they splited the kingdom in 3 parts.
Aramei, Al'Murtina and Sandarian. With the imperial guards , the imperial army and the main city located in Aramei, he tought he was undeaftable, so soon war broke out between Aramei and Al'Murtina .Many battle where fought, with great losses on both sides, but Aramei knew to win.
The Sandarian kingdom saw this as an great oppurtunity, with the great armies weakened, and his armies untouched, he marched to the capital of Aramei, which was conquered with a not to big fight. All armies of the kingdom of Aramei gathered and assaulted the walls of Meldinna (capital city).
This assault was unsuccesfull. The aramei kingdom was completly defeated by the sandarians. So the former kingdom was reunited under one banner, the Sandarian Empire.
WIth the empire in his former glory, the Sandarian moved up, into the akkadian domain.
The armies of Akadia never stood a chance against the huge armies of Sandarian. But like his father, Miaphelon died in battle against the akkadians, only by 3 arrows. He lived a while after those shot, but died eventually.
His only son claimed the throne. His plans where very wrathfull, he wanted to avange the death of his father. He moved very fast and hard into the akkadian territory. The conquets was succesfull, but the consuequences of taking so much land in such a short time where big.
The former people of Akkadia began to riot. This riots began eventually to spread completly to the south, where the city has revolted. The rebels where to strong, so they left the southeren lands, and liberated the rebel states and had peace with them. So Sandarian could concentrate to its campaign to the north. And this time a steady expansion. Now the akkadian southeren border was sold to the Asarian kingdom. A very wealthy kingdom that lives arround the rich river of Amenias.
War soon broke out between Asar and Sandarian.With the best light infantry on their side, Asar knew to move into Sandarian territory, but that expansion didn't last long, becouse Sandarian soon broke the enemy main armies and began expanding again. But this expansion wasn't cheap, becouse the Asarian where master builders and had as only faction the Necropolises. Great and beautiful cities, and meant to be untakable. So to take the necropolises the Sandarian had to come up with great ideas and great war machines. So they buyed from the foreighn tiger clans their ingenious siege engines. But unfortuatly the same engines soon where be used all arround the world.
But in that period, they where one of the few who had them.
They began to assault the necropolises with their new siege engines. The siege towers and the trebuchets.The necropolises fell one by one. And the asarian kingdom vanished from the known world.
Now its your turn to pick up arms and fight for territorial expansion!

It all began as a small vilagge. When the great empire crumbled, it was devided,3 parts of the once pround and powerfull epire where remaining,and many provinces where now in hands of rebels.
One of these town was called Distoff. A ruler for the small lands was chosen, his name was Ivan.
With rebels,bandit,raiders,orcs and other dangers lurging everywhere, he diceded to invest money i the cities defences.A stone wall rised up, soldiers where ruicruited. Now normal Bandits couldn't attack the settlement, and the threath of rebles where very decreased. But the orc threat was still there. As solution, Ivan made diplomatic relations with them, they became vassal of them, the orcs now protected the people of Distoff. But also the Orcs and Distoff traded, wich ment income for the town.
But this wasn't enough at all, they hadn't enough land for farms,plantations,etc.
So they began conquering rebel settlements.After many victories, Ivan died by a sword which slashed im in middle. The battle was won, but with loss of their fair ruler. But this coquest brought them a good city, now they had enough ground to call them self a kingdom. King Treberus rised, and he even expanded even further. Now the orcs didn't like it anymore,they would attack the kingdom of Distoff if they didn't stop expanding. But the people of the kingdom ignored it. War broke out between Distoff and the ors. While armies still expanding into former empire territry, large armies defended the northeren borders against the orcs.
After fifty years, the northeren wall rised. This is an wall that should protect the people of Distoff against the orcs. But then Treberus died off age, and his son Vladimir made a ne empire, that he just called 'Vladimirs Empire'.But unfortunatly Vlidmirs Empire was no making many friends. News came of that fearsome hordes of the east where advancing westwards. They would be soon in the empires territory. Also the golden dragon hordes where coming westwards, but they where more peace full then the tiger hordes.
Vladimir took no chance, he moved a very big army eastwards to conquer some of the last rebels settlements, and putting the hordes to an hold. This didn't stop them, they just looted and occupied the taken settements. But vladimir knew to convince them to make peace between the two.
Now its your turn take make the old empire even more glorious and powerfull then the former empire!

When the empire crumbled, the empire was divided, many rebls took over provinces.
But there where also many refugees. These refugees began to run to all possible directions.
One large group of them landed in the white mountains. They dicided to stay there.
But with all those caves, the evolution took over. They began to shrimp, untill they where dwarfs.
The dwarven kingdom is a proud kindom, and advanced in technology. They are the only ones who made use of firepowder weapons. But by selling this weapons to vladimirs empire, and the island kingdoms, they've got tons of gold. But they didn't sell them on the first costumer who wanted to buy it. they only sold it to the factions they trust. But they where wrong about one faction. Vladimirs empire declared war upon the dwarfs. Just for territprial expansion.
The islands assisted them in this battle, and now the treaty of Newport was born.
The treaty of newport says:"An army of dwarfs will always be present in at least one settlement of the kingdom of isles. But there will also be always an army present of the island kingdoms in at least one settlement of the dwarfs.The armies only can be called back when the faction is on point of crumbeling."So both factions will always be well defended. With the heavy infantry of the dwarfs, and the well trained infantry of the isalnd kingdoms, they always had a balanced army.
But Vladimir still kept conquering land of the dwarfs.The rich dwarfs, payed a tribute for a peace treaty that at least endured for 200 years. The empire accepted. Now there is peace between the two nations.
Now after 200 years, the empire attacked again, and its your job to hold them off, and defeat them once and for all, with help of your true ally, the island kingdoms!

The land of the Venetian Republic were first of the empire.
But the massive empire crumbled by the politic grievances.
These lands splited up; two of them where coquered by the growing
power Vladimirs empire. The other one is holding very good against
the growing power. These land was called the island kingdoms.
This nation was very rich by their fishery and other products.
One of the provinces was called Venetia. This land was very fertile by their
many small rivers. Basicly the whole land had high fertile ground.
The provine knew many governors. One of these governors wanted more than
be leader of a province, he wanted to lead a nation. So he asked the king of the island kingdoms to liberate and becoming a protectorate of the kingdoms. And against all odds the king agreed. The republic of Venetia became a new nation. But not long after that they couldn't make it as a seperated nation.
The province again joined the kingdoms. The province made more money again, but this time twice the amount then they would normally get. Becouse they are expert ship builders, becouse of their massive port in venetia.
But then when the empire of Vladimir wanted the former lands of the old empire
they declared war upon the island kingdoms. They invaded the island where the province of Venetia also is located. Becouse of this invasion the lands of the fromer republic became seperated from the rest of the kingdom.
So another governor wanted to try again to becouse an new nation.
The king agreed to. And with the help of venetia; who defeated the fleet of the empire so the forces on land didn't get reinforced and suppield; The island kingdoms defeated the invading forces. And the republic gained more land by conquering many of the lands of the routed enemy. By doing this thy get richer, so they had less worries of the financial problems.
Can you avoid that the republic get in problems again so they don't have to rejoin the kingdoms?

On this continent, there is an huge war going on between the guardians of light, and the legions of darkness.
Also between some other factions, like the former empire factions, invading hordes, empires from the south, etc.
