has anyone ever released one? I think the orcs and dwarves would benefit greatly i.e. be more fun to play with a mounted guard.

If I was a goblin general watching some other guys riding around on their wargs... well I would be thinking 'why the hell am I trudging about on foot? I want an armoured warg to distinguish myself as nobility, similar to what the human scum do!'

As for the dwarves, this is a trickier issue. Maybe they could have small heavily armoured war ponys (it's not that ridicolous, the mongols rode around on tiny horses) or a WoW style ram unit (yes I know this will inspire rage in the community).

I would be happy if a modder altered a few files, gave the orc generals warg mounts. It could even be the same texture as the standard wargs... but with bonuses to armour and attack. I think this can be done relatively easily, well for a modder anyway

It would be against lore. Dwarves didn't really have cavalry, and certainly weren't noted for their cavalry. They were, however, noted for their metalwork on armour and weapons. As a result, I think it would be better for dwarves to be on foot for general units.
As for orcs, I can understand why you'd want a warg unit but I still think that it's a bit better for them to be on foot. That's the orc style, cavalry isn't an orcish strength. I wouldn't be against some custom generals on wargs, but I wouldn't want to see it in general.

true it would be lore breaking but I just want those factions to be more entertaining to play as. Anyone out there want to give the orcs a warg guard? As stated before it doesn't need a new texture or anything fancy.

Wargs are little bit too unpredictable to be mounts for general. No one want's the most important orc in army to die because his loved pet ate him at night That's probably the lore reason

Thought you can do whatever you want with your game. I would also like to have some custom generals with wargs
