Biography: Appius was born in Rome, and has lived their for much of his life. He had enjoyed, so far, a life of comfortable luxury. Though the Horatia family are not as promient as they used to be, their patrician roots mean they still occasionally get elected into the senate and other courts. Appius himself, inspired by his heritage from Tullus Hostillus, privately dreams that one day, he could be a King of Rome, or perhaps even more. Despite this, he usually disregards it as plain madness. In the mean time, Appius is a young man full of energy and potential, with both skills in statesmanship and army command.
