I take it you didn't make a copy of your original rtw direcory then?
I might be wrong but te only way to unistall is to buy another game
or if you have a copy you can just use that one
Sorry mate but it looks like you in a bit of a predicament,
King Agamemnon of Mycenae
edit: sorry I must have misread, I thought you had said you didn't have the cd, if you do then you can definitely get rtw back to normal![]()

No, you don't need to buy another game. If you tell us what exactly is still there, we can tell you how to remove it. If you've cleaned RTW from the registry you should be able to re-install the original game without any problems.
However, more detail please, screenshots of where you installed and what won't un-install would be great.

It seems you didn't make another copy or backup of your original RTW folder and installed RSII in the only RTW directory you have... It can be uninstalled but you'll have to delete the entire RTW as well and reinstall it.
Just delete the RTW folder in the SEGA or Activision or Creative Assembly folder (or whatever you installed it in), then delete anything about RTW from the registry and you're set.
Though it has been reccomended time and time again to make a different copy of your RTW folder in a different directory for every mod so that you can avoid exactly this type of issues.

"By what right does the wolf judge the lion?"
As has been stated, uninstall Roma Surrectum with the uninstaller, uninstall Rome Total War (back up saves if needed), use a registry cleaner (it's easy to find a free one online) to remove all traces of RTW/RS2, delete anything of them that still exists, and lastly reinstall RTW. At this point it should be an entirely fresh install with no issues. If they still persist do what was already suggested and post pictures/ describe in detail every step you've taken or you won't get much useful help.
thnx i will try it and tell you !!!!!!!!!!

is that the programm????????
I found an easier way,and i will tell you how i fixed it !!!!!!!!! Here are the steps:
1Uninstall rome total war and your save data
2When it is uninstalled go to Rome Total War folder and delete EVERY single file in there.
3Finally reinstall RTW and you're set !!!!!!!!!
Yup, the registry cleaner is just there to help prevent installation issues caused by deleting those folders. It's not always, strictly speaking, necessary, but it can help prevent some major headaches by using one in these circumstances.
Glad you got it working by the way. Enjoy.
The registry cleaning has to be done when you are trying to reinstall the game
which you already uninstalled but it won't work because the installer says: game is already installed
