OOC: This is a side campaign to the Egyptian invasion and is aimed at removing the possibility of the moors sending reinforcements, it will also ensure that the crusaders will be able to travel safely to the Holy Lands.

Not really, this hasn't been even discussed by Portugal and The Greco-Roman Empire... Until it is, it will stay in the hands of Portugal... After the battle we decide what to do with it.

Judging by the latest map it is not uner your control, if it is then we request to use it as a base of operations during the fight against the moors.

It is not under anyone's control because we have not conquored it yet. We will both conquor it (Portugal and the Greco-Roman Empire), but it will stay in the hands of Portugal since it is the closest of the two Kingdoms. And, of course, the Greco-Roman Empire will be more then welcome to put a base of operations there, being that in the Straits you will have complete military acess.

Portugal is closer, and it is the one investing the highest (using more men to fight the moors), and its interest is more directly related to it. So it should be of Portugal until the negociations are made. You can intervene in any war by having your Base of Operation in the Straits (with Full Military Access as I said earlier) and by means of diplomacy....

I will not cooperate with my archenemy. With the GRE, yes. But not Portugal..but I haven;t been approached to help against the Moors ..so I remain uninvolved...that and the Civil War has stalled so I can't end it quickly..

Ok, I have decided on this. there are two parts on the southern tip of Iberia, Portugal can have the western bit because they are contributing more while i will take the eastern bit because it is smaller.
