OOC: Considering the large amount of free space it is doubtful that someone will add more territory. However there is plenty of space in the east for you to have an Indian Empire. Just in case you did not know, this game is based in 1100 AD. At this point there was nowhere near a unified India. I will look up some of their history to find a faction of theirs that would go if you are set on being India.
*EDIT* I believe that the Sindh could be a good choice for you. All of the fighting in the western powers and a few changes to the Sindh history could allow them to rebel against the Caliphate and conqeur some land in the east thereby setting up a powerbase from which to expand.

Actually it proved fairly easy for me to expand the map (though not all of India is showing, it should be sufficient for you), check the latest map thread.
