    Default Can't install RTW

I had two copies of RTW on my laptop (two folders). I used one for RSII (for beta testing with SVN) and another for other RTW mods. I had to delete the second one because I somehow messed up the files, so I couldn't play any mod or even RTW. Because I wanted to have another clean copy of RTW, I downloaded it from a torrent site and extracted all the files into a separate folder. I can't remember if it worked (I think it did), but I deleted the folder shortly after, being content with just the RSII mod I had.
So a couple of months ago, I deleted the RS copy too, because I hadn't played it for some time (and thought I wouldn't in the near future). I deleted all the RS files and uninstalled RTW from my computer.

The problem is that now when I want to reinstall RTW, it says that I already have it installed and that I should first remove that copy before installing. But I don't have a single file (that I know of) on my computer! I tried deleting anything connected to RTW, but it didn't help...

What can I do? How can I install RTW again? Could this be because of SVN (which I still have)?

There are probably some references in the register left.
Use a program like ccleaner to remove them.

    Look here in the 'Registry':

    [ H K E Y _ L O C A L _ M A C H I N E \ S O F T W A R E \ T h e C r e a t i v e A s s e m b l y \ R o m e - T o t a l W a r ]

    And here:

    [ H K E Y _ C L A S S E S _ R O O T \ I n s t a l l e r \ P r o d u c t s \ B 6 B B 2 4 6 A D 1 A C 2 4 1 4 D 8 4 D 1 3 C 8 F 3 D 3 8 C 4 3 ]

The information in these keys is what 'installs' RTW. Nothing else matters. In fact, if I want to install RTW fresh (as I had to recently when my PC died), I just re-enter these keys and all my RTW installs work.
I had previously 'exported' these keys to '.REG' files, so re-installing takes just a few seconds.

Anyway, find these two keys, delete them, and you should be good to go.
Be careful in that file and delete ONLY these two keys.

If you mean the Registry in CCleaner, it doesn't find anything related to RTW anymore (I deleted everything related to that). If not, could you guide me step by step, cause I've never done that before.

Not sure about CCleaner but the registry DVK means is the one you find with regedit - which OS are you using?

EDIT: Thanks a lot guys It worked! I'm installing it atm
And now, if I can only find the mail with the SVN password and username, I'll be off to testing RSII again.
