Princess glitch?

I married off my faction heir to the HRE, but in a few turns they were reduced to Bologna by a Franco-Danish-Milanese coalition. So I decided to end the alliance and seize Bologna. Then it says on the portrait that the princess died and my heir lost all the "Wife" traits, however children continued to be born, even years after the princess "died".

Weird. However it does make sense as all characters die from that faction once it is destroyed, just like any other faction. You just had a stroke of bad luck with it.

Zombie wife. Make sure your faction heir fills her up with embalming fluid and preservatives or the whole palace will start to smell of her rotting flesh.
