Default Staying with the blood line?

This topic has been spoken about at least once but there is nothing wrong with a fresh set of minds to question it.

How important is accepting men of the hour and adoptions? Is it that important that without them you would find the game a lot more difficult because of lack of family members?

I would like to maintain a solid blood line of generals on my play through of the game that I'm going to do eventually but I wouldnt want to go out the way in terms of making the game even harder by sticking with this plan, thanks!

its probably the only way you gonna get good traits on your generals. coming of age mechanic seems messed up

It is very important, but you can still afford to be very selective, as there are no need for your 12 year old daughter to marry an 83-and soon dead-buggar with no valua at all.

You will run out of blood very fast if you try to keep it pure, that is for sure.....

Usually the "man of the hour" is a very useful general because of the command stars.

Not accepting any adoption is equal to putting all your daughters into a prison and forget
    about them.
