This should be raised in the The Three Kingdoms mod part of the forum (if there is one).

The way to keep your orginal R:TW install clean is to simply take a copy of it and then install any mod onto a copy of the original install. So, if a mod messes up the game then you still have a working copy of your R:TW install.

If you uninstall R:TW you will be able to re-use your CD-Key. The CD-Key is only required when playing MP games.

The following is an old screen shot that shows I had 11 copies of the R:TW install:

yah i posted there too, there is no response, just as i had thought. Also, i don't want to do that because:
    1. it takes like 20 min to copy 5 GB
    2. it takes up 5 more GB
i was hoping that you can tell me which one is the english text file, so i can replace it with a clean one. or should i replace the whole data?
    P.S
there also arent any text on NTW II ( a rtw mod)

Well, if you do not want to follow Brusilov's advice, then there is but the hard way: Re-install every time. And the P.S. you posted suggests that there has been a mess up in the original files ( I guess you have RTW Gold), so there really are but one way. Soryr. And when you are at it anyway, just to mention it, Brusilov's idea is very good, as it helps keep problems to a minumum. I know i takes time and takes space on the HD, but really, it is worth it.

Disc space is cheap and usually PCs have way too muchof it now-a-days - unless you download movies.

When I first used mods with R:TW I was regularly having to uninstall/reinstall from the original three CD-ROM version of the game. Fortunately someone posted the advice which I've posted above. If you follow it then you should never be inthe position where you need to uninstall/reinstall again. The time spent simply taking a copy will save you time later on if you ever mess up your one R:TW install agian.

You don't need to sit and watch it copy the files - start the process and then do something away from your PC.
