Removing Family Members?

I'm sure Dave made factions heirs already married with children to speed up progression, but having a foreign princess marry my heir or visa versa was always something I enjoyed in the game.

So is there any way to remove a faction heir's wife and children from the game? Any help would be most appreciated.

I remove the family members that I want to be removed, Prince Henry's wife and children, but when I click "Start Campaign" it sends me back to the main menu:

Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: I suppose you can't put more than one space when you put text in spoiler tags, so to be clear there are eight spaces between Henry and "end".

1. make sure you use notepad or notepad ++

2. remove; relative Henry, end

3. that should work, unless you've changed something else? if it doesn't, we are going to have to restore the file to how it was, before being edited and then progress from there!
