**Yes, I know this is unhistorical, but hey, this is a game, and it is in somewhat of the same time frame.**

Recent pilgrimage of German, French, and other Christians to the Holy Lands have caused many men to arm to fight for God. However, more and more Christians have been bonding to form religious Knightly Orders, like the Hospitallers...His Holiness has recognized both groups, and they arming up in the Holy Lands. Unlike the Hospitallers, they have quite different jobs..and ideas. Maybe God have mercy on the infidels..these will be tough times for them, indeed.

Templar Order
Grand Master - Hugues de Payens
After the First Crusade captured Jerusalem in 1099, many Christian pilgrims traveled to visit what they referred to as the Holy Places. However, though the city of Jerusalem was under relatively secure control, the rest of the Outremer was not. Bandits abounded, and pilgrims were routinely slaughtered, sometimes by the hundreds, as they attempted to make the journey from the coastline at Jaffa into the Holy Land.Around 1100, two veterans of the First Crusade, the French knight Hugues de Payens and his relative Godfrey de Saint-Omer, proposed the creation of a monastic order for the protection of these pilgrims. King Baldwin II of Jerusalem agreed to their request, and gave them space for a headquarters on the Temple Mount, in the captured Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Temple Mount had a mystique, because it was above what was believed to be the ruins of the Temple of Solomon. These Knights are believed to hold relics of high religious value.

Teutonic Order
Hochmeister - Heinrich Walpot von Bassenheim
Teutonic Order (Today: German Order = Der Deutsche Orden, also Deutschherren- or Deutschritterorden), is a German medieval military order, in modern times a purely religious Catholic order. It was formed to aid Christians on their pilgrimages to the Holy Land and to establish hospitals. These Knights have been heard that they are moving to the Baltic to attack Pagans.
