Haven't seen any threads on it so I thought i'd put the word out. First episode premiered back in mid-August and i've been glued to it ever since. Apparently it was inspired by a novel from Chris Ryan, who was a member of the ill-fated Bravo Two Zero unit from the Gulf War. The background of Ryan as former SAS really tells too, because the weapons training and handling on the actors makes it pretty evident they have a damn good military liaison(s) working with them.

The plot for the series is pretty enticing, and without giving too much away basically centers around a British Black Ops unit called Section 20 that's on the hunt for a Pakistani terrorist, which then expands on a fictional account of how the alleged WMDs in Iraq prior to the 2003 invasion might have been secreted out of the country.

There are very few TV series out there that could give the Jack Bauer Power Hour (aka 24) a run for its money, but this one does...and does so brilliantly. It's like a cross between 24 and the Bourne movies all in one....and since it's on Cinemax also means there's plenty of T&A to boot! The kickass opening titles are just icing on the cake.

The two main characters, Damien Scott (a disgraced former Delta Force operator) and Michael Stonebridge (a by-the-book SAS sergeant) play off of each other superbly, and always leaves you wanting to follow their exploits with each episode. Apparently this is the first time the series has expanded to a US audience, so the first season that centered around Richard Armitage's character has kinda been spoiled. But I still intend to watch it once this series wraps up. I'm that hooked.

so like... there isnt anything you could have said that would have piqued my interest more.

I gotta give this a look a cross between 24 and bourne... That just sounds mind blowingly awesome

Here's an extended sneak peek from the 1st episode if it interests you. Minus certain bits and pieces either too graphic or important to the plot:

    I've been watching it.

It's quite good. I loved the First series and this series seems more in the vein of 24 and the bourne movies than the previous series.

There is a lot of sex and nudity in it, but it's fine as it usually does have links to the plot
