    Is it possible to trigger the faction's papal standing for a new game ?

    What do you mean exactly? Transfer faction standings from one game to another?

    No, for instance England has 7 crosses when you start a new game, Hungary 5, etc.

    Is it possible to trigger these values ?

    It's possible to change them if that's what you mean. You edit the starting faction standing with the papal states in descr_strat.txt
