Guys could the narrator from the " Mecca is captured by the crusaders ", learn some basic's about English pronouncement and narration and then make a descent sounding video .

The narrator is actually native English speaker who stylized pronunciation (not pronouncement) so it would sound as spoken by non-English speaker. That was the idea.

By the way, it's "basics", not "basic's".

I appreciate the narrators efforts but I have to agree with Mind here, in one regard. The audio quality sounds pretty bad. Like speaking into a 5 cent plastic microphone. Effort and style aside, the sound quality it is not up to the overall quality of BC.

I've listened to it through two sound systems, one computer stereo set up with sub, and also through a home stereo system plugged into my computer (depends on where I am when playing).

As for the quality - we didn't hire a professional actor with super recording studio, obviously. That's not easy to create such a video, it's pretty time consuming, but if anyone wants to display his superior skills in both movie making and dubbing - go ahead, we will gladly replace current video with that superior one.

It's easy to criticize (I don't mean you, Dago), but it's harder to actually do something that could be included in the mod. If it have been otherwise, we would have less posts in the forum and much more content in the mod.

I was bothered by the audio quality (it is very stark contrast to the rest of the mod) but not enough to say anything.... until he did -- I took "decent sounding" to refer to the audio quality. I don't have the equipment handy to capture rich sound anymore, but it's not hard to come by (even if I did I'm not saying I could do better).

You need the voice acting talent (which your guy arguably possesses) + the audio quality. I'm actually inclined to think the latter is more important. You don't need too many acting frills as long as you can speak articulately, if you have a rich, high quality capture.

I addressed both .

Common dude it's not that hard first i don't understand if you think you can't do good voice acting why don't you give the work to somebody who can and will .The amount of effort is ridiculously small compared to other stuff in modding .

Go ahead and make some new narratives! Then post results in submods forum. I'm sure the community will be happy with it.
