Crash with Praetorians

hello my game crashes everytime i go into battle with my patorian gurad units but if i use other units and i have a army of over 3000 it will work just fine. everything is set to low. im not sure if its because their more detailed than the other units are or if my computer cant handle it.

With RS 1.5? look at the date of the previous post, 2008. Are you sure this is the mod you mean?

yeah im play roma surrectum 2 and i was playing just fine everything was set to low but my armies are sey to huge. and i wasnt haveing any problems but as soon as i sent in my patorian guard units and went into the battlefield i clicked start battle and it crashes on me. i have a geforce gtx 260 card and my comptuer is only 3 years old its a high power for gameing. i have attached my dxdiag file plse help some one

What happens if you reduce the number of units from huge to large? My guess is that it is the number of sprites used, in particular make sure the vegetation and grass is not high. If you read these threads you'll see this has been explained many times, that the game itself is old and doesn't take advantage of the newer graphics or use multiple processors/cores so having a high end machine won't necessarily help here.
