We must come together and take back a symbol. That symbol is Wall Street. On September 17th we must unite, Marxists, anarchists, tea party libertarians, anti-war activists, people on the left, people on the right and everyone anti-authoritarian.

We must come together and collectively take back a symbol that represents the corruption of power, the corruption of capital, the corruption of large state governments and even larger corporate institutions. Whatever comes of this action, whatever way the world turns, we must stand to change it from what it has become—rule of the many by the few.

Anonymous has staged this protest for some time now and thousands have apparently shown up. But I have not seen any news coverage about this yet.

So spread the word that the masses are awakening!

How are they trying to fix anything? They have no real goal then to be an annoyance. Protesting could work, but they dont seem to even have any goals except stop doing what your doing.

Given the nature of the ''protestors'' I don't see anything more than hyperbolic statements and empty rhetoric regarding the ''inevitability of socialism''. Therefore this protest can't be considered worthy of anyhting more than upholding the Right to Protest

There are clear similarities between both movements. Both want freedom and to end the system, which exploits the people. Yes, so far their official demands are pretty vague, but than again, the movement itself has just emerged. Its not like similar movements in Arab countries were more organized right after they emerged.

As it was explained to me, he objected to usury rates charged to the worshippers for the forex on secular currency for holy currency. He's quite down with the normal commercial activities, just not overweening greed; if I were a hedge fund manager, investment banker or Goldman Sachs alumni, I'd consider conversion.

All the major religions strictly forbid usury, except the Torah which makes certain exceptions. Coincidentally, the primary usurers throughout history have been of Jewish decent. I find that interesting.
