Question about downloading the game.

So i want to download the game but i read it's difficult getting mods to work with the steam version. If i were to download the game from amazon or D2D would it be like using the cd version of the game and not have any trouble using mods?

Mods work fine with steam version you just have to wrap your head around it, that's it.
D2D actually has problems, their was some user complaining about it few months back iirc, you should search the M2TW forums.
With Amazon you will purchase the discs.

I think I remember that D2D thread from a few months ago. IIRC the CD Key they gave him wasn't working.

No there was some user that received corrupted music pak files or something like that.

Digital downloads from Amazon are also reliable. They usually provide the CD key in the account section under your games locker. So it's safe and secure and mods should run on it.

But imo you are better off through steam as i have no examples that actually bought from Amazon.
