Dude, I sent it to your e-mail. Hope you have a good time. You have tons of money, over a million denarii, most of the cities are fully built, all of the ones in Italy are, so have a good time.

    Peace,

Lol, I have what, 1,690,560, or something like that. It's really easy for me to take over any area now, and plus, I have an average income in one turn of 68,000 deanrii. I'll post a pic if you don't believe me.

    What year? Nobody out finances me! I haven't tried SPQR 6.1 yet but its all installed and ready to go. I've been working on videos more recently one day I might upload them and you can view the premiere of ;

    "My Big Fat Greek Battle"
Featuring ‘Zorba the Greek’ as the music track. However I want to use the version from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, but I’m having troubles find it.

Until you can build Princepes and Triarii, etc., use them only when you really need to. Make sure all of your cities are financially based except one or two in the north near the border until you make a good amount of money each turn. Then have at least three legions in the north rotating after battles and retraining. Take Syracuse with two legions. Then, after they're settled down, send those two plus another one to Greece and wreak havoc. Be sure to take Thermon if you're not afraid of the Macedonians so you won't have to reinforce your Princepes and Triarii from Italy (annoying as crap to do, I took Sparta first unfortunately). Then finish off the Greek Cities prescence in the Peloponese (spelling). Now destroy the Macs and expand!
    "And then He said, 'Oops.'"

    Rep points are very nice.

Sure I'll send you the save.

    As for strategy:

FIRST TURN:Create garrison of as many velites in Messena as possible, use as much cash on that as possible. Increase taxes to very high in each town. In the capital have a garrrison of only one town watch. Same with the southern cities. Do not build any buildings.

SECOND TURN:If you have successfully fought off the Carthiginians in Messena, transport the southern Legion to Sicily and take Syracuse. Create 5 units of Hastati at two northern cities(Segesta and Arminium). Build ports in all souther cities.

THIRD TURN:Move 5 Hastati units to river and mountain pass. Create forts to hold onto those passes, and keep the northern legion stationed in Arminium. Destroy all buildings in Syracuse, if taken. Build temple and garrison force of 5 hastati. In all northern cities build port.

FOURTH TURN:Move southern Legion to border of Lilybaeum. Fend off all Carthiginian forces until reinforcements can arrive. Hold forts, and keep refreshing units. Build the next step of barracks in all southern towns, includes Massena, create next tier of temple in Syracuse.

From here, I'm sure you can do fine, and I'll send you the saved game soon.

    Peace,
    Adnan

Give him some slack he is only taking Scilly. By the time he invades North Africa the Carthaginians they will be very powerful and will present a clear and present danger.

My empire isn't too big, but I'm still expanding into Carthage and Asia minor. Also, yea, I use the garrison script, which is why if you see my legions in Carthage are made up mostly of Auxillia, because the original legions were hit hard by the garrisons.

Man I have been left out of the loop, as a college student I have had test after test after test lately and really need to get back to playing. I haven't played for a week and I am only at 237 BC. Waaayyyyyy far off from the reforms. I may take Greece first this time though, every time I declare war on them theyt try to make peace and I do. Last time I only accepted if they pay me 2000 denarii per turn for 10 turns... They AGREED can you believe it!
