Yeah... I'm an amature at file "modding" and, like an idiot, started searching the data files and started changing stuff, EVEN THOUGH I WAS ALWAYS WARNED NOT TO DO SO BECAUSE YOU COULD [Censored] UP YOUR GAME THAT WAY!!!

Anyways, I can't seem to play the campaign anymore. I have accidentialy the whole campaign, one might say. I cannot remember the names of the files I modded, but I do remember what I changed. They were:

Increasing the health, Primary attack and defence stats for British Peasants.

Making the Rebel faction an Eastern culture instead of Roman.

Increasing the spawn chance of Rebels dramaticaly.

If anyone can tell me what files I can find these values to change them back to normal, I would appreciate it a lot. Also, I'm new here and I didn't see a technical help thread, soz... Yeah.

That's really funny to me, because I did say to myself while changing the values, "I probably should've backed these up... Oh well, I'm sure nothing can go too wrong...".

The best thing to do right now is to just reinstall.

I have also started to mod without backup and then had to reinstall. Luckily I didn't have any campaign in the run.

Also people can only upload modded files to TWC. No vanilla R:TW or any TW game data files can be uploaded onto TWC (excluding saves, replays etc which are not game data files).

I know that has not been asked but I thought I should point that out.

The best way forward is to do an uninstall and reinstall of the game. When you want to mod the game simply take a copy of the whole RTW folder and create a new folder 'My RTW' (for instance) and then mod that copy. That way you should not need to uninstall/reinstall ever again! Clearly when you mod a file take a copy of that file before you make the changes - you can always then go back the last working modded version of any file.
