Problem with factions

hello everybody
I have some problems choosing a faction. everytime i choose a faction and click on start i get back to the main menu.
Can you help me?

Mm, sounds like you have corrupted or damaged mod or game files...

Where did you download your mod from and do you have this problem with Medieval 2 or it's expansions?

No this propblem only appears at this mod.
I reinstalled the and now i can't start it. When i start the game the medieval 2(!) loading screen appears and then a window appears with nothing in it. When i click on ok, the game close.

Obviously you installed something incorrectly, delete the mod, and go through the process again.

check the bug reports and technical help section at top of this forum, there are many with your problem and some threads may havea fix that works for you

i had the same problem for a few days... it was really bothering me!
then i realized there is a part 2 i have to install....

Now i can start the game and custom battles work, but I can't start a campaign with a faction
A second part? I download all 11 parts of the 1.4.4 Version in English with music and extraxt an installer. Which second part do you mean?

Probably a mess up with the map files.
Submit your log (in the logs sub folder), compress it first and then attach it here.

If you re-installed I would highly recommend this tutorial as from step 3: How To Fix UAC and VirtualStore Problems

Have you used Gigantuses version? It's smaller and deals with many ctd's.

I used that one and haven't had any problems apart from some crashes in massive battles. Try that one out if you haven't already.

It's ridiciolus
Even with this version I can't start a campaign nor can i Start a custom battle.
How can I create the log Gigantus was asking for?

1) Did you make sure you deleted your Call_of_Warhammer folder completely before reinstalling?

2) Did you make sure you downloaded all parts of Gigantus' installer, including all sub-parts?

3) A system.log is made whenever you run the game. It can be found in "logs/M2TW.system.log.txt"
