    1. You posted that in the suggestions thread. Moved it to new thread.

    2. The Romans have more than one family tree but because you can only show one at a time, the other ones wont show up unless a member of one of those families becomes faction leader

I solved this problem with a little family feud that killed off all but the Komnenus line in the first 30 turns

I used the Laskaris father/son team to lead my reclaimation of the Greek lands and then they were "tragicaly" lost trying to 2-man the invasion of Constantinople.

Likewise, I used the starting emperor as backup to Alexander Komnenus army during my succesful invasion of the capital. Due to some "miscommunication", he charged his bodygaurds into the smashed gate all alone because the legions werent quite in position to attack yet.

Alexander shed a tear for his former emperor, before sacking the city and slapping on his new crown wahahaha..... family tree mischeif solved

You sacked Constantinople when reclaiming it? Why the hell would you sack your own capital city? Much much much much better in the long run to occupy it.

But yes that's pretty much the only way to get the Komenians back in power. Some classic Byzantine politics
