Adding Ritterbruders to HRE with RR disabled?

Ok I have decided to disable RR because I never can make it 100+ turns without losing interest and I'm itching to play HRE late with those awesome late period knights. Question is when I disabled RR I can no longer construct the Teutonic Chapter House to recruit Ritters and Dismounted Ritters? Any quick modding tips to pass this up or would it be too complex while RR is disabled?

You need to add them to the TO chapter house in the EDB. If you have disabled RR then I assume know know about editing the EDB already.

Actually I just used the installed setup to disabled RR automatically. I went to the export_descr_buildings.txt to see if adding HRE to them would work but seems not. If you wouldnt mind going into a little more detail of what EDB is and how to edit it?

The Disable RR submod that came with SS6.3/6.4 or is there one for RR/RC compilation too?

Just when you run the SS 6.4 setup to change between Early or Late campaigns it gives you the option to disable Real Recruitment among all the other settings (A.I., BGR II, IV. etc..) I chose to disable it and no longer can I construct the Teutonic chapter house for HRE to recruit Ritterbruders.

Ok for a start you posted this in the RR/RC compilation forum.

You can still recruit Ritterbruder from the TO chapter house as the HRE. You can only build chapter houses in certain regions in 6.4. Search the SS forum for info on where they can be built

Ok apologies for the incorrect forum to post in but I know that Ritters can be recruited in only Hamburg and in Magdeburg for HRE. I'm saying that when I disable Real Recruitment from the SS 6.4 setup I no longer have the option to construct the TO Chapter house in those respected cities. I was wondering how to allow that construction to be possible again while keeping Real Recruitment off. This is all on a fresh new late era campaign as well.

Ah late campaign that changes things a bit. The HRE can only build the chapter houses before the inquisition event which fires between 5 and 10 years after the late era begins. That is the only thing that prevents the TO chapter houses from being built.

Failing that, go into SS6.3\data\campaign\late\world\maps\base and delete map.rwm and start a new campaign.

Tried deleting the map.rwm file and then editing the Ritters to HRE in EBD but to no avail. Strange, there is obviously something to do with disabling Real Recruitment in the SS 6.4 Setup that negates the construction of the TO Chapter house in a Late Campaign

Want to upload your EDB file? I have no idea what it looks like with RR disabled, so maybe I could spot the problem if I could see it.

You dont need to add Ritterbruder to the HRE as they are already there. I'm looking at the DisableRR EDB right now and they are definitely there. I've compared the non-RR entries with the RR entries and they are exactly the same. Have you got any other submods installed?

And can you post the EDB entries for the TO chapter houses that you've got

I believe you'll need to go to the export_descr_buildings (or EDB for short) which is in the data folder of SS. There, find the line for the templar chapter houses and in the parentheses which includes the factions, add the german one (I don't remember what their coded name is, but you can see it on the standard buildings in the EDB).
